Bessie Becker Frederick & Nelson Bavaria Vintage 2 Pc Dirndl Dress

Bessie Becker vintage dirndl skirt and top in red and green purchased at Frederick and Nelson in the late 1950's or early 1960's. The original owner saved the clipping below in a file, with a lot of other magazine clippings of the clothing she purchased. It reads: An up to date dirndl from Bavaria.

This outfit has a full, pleated skirt with metal zipper and side slit pockets, and a top with bow! This vintage outfit is in mint condition - we put a slight crinoline under the skirt for the photos (not included) but the skirt is much fuller! The top is larger in proportion to the skirt, which is small so be sure to check the measurements. If you need a larger skirt, this should be one that a good tailor could alter for a larger size because of the fullness.
